As the federal government shutdown continues, local organizations across Maryland are stepping up to make sure no one is left behind. This Friday, November 7, Resilient Maryland, in partnership with Nourish Now, Rose Pedals Consulting, and the Black Caucus of Montgomery County, is hosting a free community distribution for furloughed federal workers and their families.

This event is part of an ongoing effort to support community members facing hardship during the shutdown. Volunteers will be on-site to assist, and supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
