Exclusive Hiring Event Opportunity for Job Seekers & Career Changers

We are excited to share a powerful employment opportunity with our community!


An exclusive, invite-only hiring event has been scheduled for June 24, 2026, offering qualified job seekers and career changers the opportunity to connect directly with a major employer currently hiring for multiple positions across a variety of fields.


This is more than a job fair. It is a targeted hiring opportunity designed to place prepared candidates directly in front of employer representatives for immediate consideration.


Candidates attending the event will have the opportunity to interview with the employer’s staff, and those who successfully pass the initial screening may move immediately into the next stages of the hiring process.

Participation Requirements


To be considered for this hiring event, all job seekers must complete the following steps:

  • Create a DCNetworks account

  • Connect with an American Job Center (AJC) Case Manager


How Job Seekers Can Get Started


1. Create a DCNetworks Account


Register online through DCNetworks to connect with a DOES Case Manager:

2. Schedule a Virtual Appointment

The Role of the Case Manager


After meeting with each job seeker to confirm their DCNetworks account and qualifications, AJC Case Managers will complete the referral process by submitting a Smartsheet referral form.


This process includes uploading:

  • Résumé

  • Certifications

  • Specific job interests


These materials are required to officially register candidates for consideration at the hiring event.


Selection Process


Event organizers will carefully review all submissions in order to:

  • Organize candidates by field of interest

  • Conduct professional pre-screening

  • Issue formal invitations to applicants who meet all requirements


Please note that this is an invite-only event, and participation details will only be shared with selected candidates.
