Sermon Review Quiz “1000 Ways to Die”

This week’s sermon, “Transform: 1000 Ways to Die,” took us into the powerful story of Lazarus in John 11:1–12:2. It reminded us that life can get heavy. Grief shows up. Fear shows up. Disappointment shows up. Shame, loss, and old habits can wrap around us tighter than we realize.

But here’s the good news: the story does not end at the tomb.

Jesus steps into the middle of sorrow and speaks life. He meets Martha with truth. He meets Mary with tears. He calls Lazarus out of the grave. Then He tells the community, “Loose him, and let him go.” That means Jesus gives life, and we help each other walk in freedom. Resurrection is not just something to believe in someday. It is something Christ invites us to live into right now.

This quiz is a fun way to review the sermon, revisit the Scripture, and think about what God may be saying to you. As you answer each question, don’t just aim for the right answer. Let the questions tug at your heart a little. Where do you need Jesus to call you out? What old “grave clothes” are you ready to let go of? Who has God placed around you to help you walk free?

Grab your pencil, take your time, and enjoy the review. There may be a thousand ways for death to show up, but Jesus still has the final word, and His word is life.
