For over 25 years, our Mission Ministry of Pilgrim has proudly partnered with the SHARE Food Network Program, providing valuable, affordable food packages to our congregation and the wider community. This has been a vital ministry for decades!
The Challenge We Face
While we celebrate this long history, our participation has recently dropped to only seasonal support around Thanksgiving and Christmas. To truly serve our community and maintain the stability of the program, we are gauging the interest in us returning to being an active year-round SHARE site.
To make this happen, we need to meet two important targets:
Order Commitment: We need the support of the congregation to commit to 20–25 orders per month.
Volunteer Support: We need several members willing to volunteer some of their time at a SHARE site.
Help Us Plan: Take the Short Survey!
A few members have already expressed interest, but we need to accurately assess the overall support from the entire church family before moving forward with year-round planning.
Please take this short SHARE Program Participation Survey to let us know how you might be able to help. The survey asks if you would be interested in:
Purchasing a Package: Would you purchase the $30 SHARE food package (which includes $50 worth of meats, vegetables, fruits, and dry goods)? You can indicate if you would buy monthly or quarterly.
Volunteering: Are you willing to volunteer once a month at the SHARE Warehouse, pick up packages , or be an assistant driver? You can even indicate if you’d volunteer even if you don’t purchase a package!
Your feedback is crucial and will directly determine if we have the support to sustain this powerful ministry.
